RFE has never been a weekend thread, i have tried numerous times in the past but unless there was an announcement on a Friday of significance most holders are happy to have the weekend off, doesnt mean the enthusiasm isnt there.

regarding the Quantum fund, going on the top 100 i received on thursday, they are still sitting tight, to my knowledge they havnt sold any shares.

the seller has been MacQuaries.
they bought 15 million shares in the cap raising at 32c.
they decided to sell 5 million in a xtrade back in November 2011, sold another 5 million via xtrade the previous week but have also commenced selling on market.

my guess is that they have continued to sell since then and where the major seller on Wednesday but cant confirm that just yet.
this would mean they are very close to closing their entire position if they havnt already.

they have made a nice profit and decided to move on even if imho they have pulled the trigger too early, dont think they would be too worried about my opinion though.
what RFE shareholders should be happy about is the ease these guys have been soaked up, especially while SP is in the 90c-$1 range.

at least 3 nominee accounts have been buying in this time, at this point names are not important, the fact is the top100 has continued as a % to grow.

the buyer of 700k shares undoubtedly has done their research, they just happened to put a huge buy in at the time there was a major seller. imho such a large buy order placed in the near future at the same level would not be met with the same enthusiasm, unless someone else bobs up of course.

the buysell signal report is based on techincals and company figures from the latest half early or yearly reports, it never factors in intangibles like M&A activity occuring in the region, who is buying and selling or possible well results, in fact many times its long and short term ratings never seem to line up with the fundamentals of RFE, so personally, i never read too much into their computer generated reports.

on another topic, article here is of interest to shareholders.

this was effective as of 24/2/12 but unsure if RFE has been traded yet on the OTCQX.
David is in the US as i speak, will be making a presentation this week in New York so will be interesting to see what comes of this.
for some companies this hasnt been as effective as hoped, time will tell in our case.
