All I was going on was the wording. It was couched so as to allow a release at any time. If I'd known what you blokes had been told (implied?) then I may have thought likewise.

Hey you and Rabooth should have been moderated the other day for baiting us easties about GST etc. Didn't get me though. I was tempted nevertheless.

Now T I have a theory about the failed leadership coup.

1. J's not going too well in the polls Mark's thinking and M wants to do do something really good for the party and the country before he leaves.

2. Let's bait K so as to get him to have a crack at the PM's position he plots - you can't keep an ego like that down forever. He won't be able to resist and I know he can't win because I'm (ie Mark) the numbers man and J will cream him.

3. Once he loses, J will be reborn. She will be legitimised and have a clean slate. No more K and no more talk of back-stabbing. All the K supporters will be silenced forever.This is how J will win the next election and I (ie Mark) will do it - and he did, and he left.

What do you think? Fanciful?
