So what happens when someone had 'something' over the weekend and is not affected by it at work? They might regret this if they find themselves dismissing one of their best employees in the future.
Too invasive of people's private time away from work imo, unless of course there is health and safety concerns at the workplace. Heavy or regular drinkers not affected by these tests I expect, which therefore makes a mockery of the tests anyway.
