You are right Hanrahan, it was 3.8%. US housing is still falling and the crisis started in mid 2006. Case Shiller index (20 cap cities) fell by more than expected in December with 18 of the 20 posting declines. Wonder when a bottom will be made? At this rate it could take another five to six years. Durable goods orders also slumped 4%. Thakfully the yanks ignored all of this in favour of positive consumer confidence.
