Alan - thanks for the self-righteous advice.
You miss my point entirely.
The Point was:-
When good men see wrong - and DO nothing - then chaos ensues!
Recall the famous test - has gone down i the scientific annals - but forget what it was called - when, under controlled laboratory conditions, several people took part e encouraged to keep raising the levels of electric shocks they were directed to administer on people, on the commandd of the "experiment" director. Despite the increasing pain and discomfort and finally screams of pain, every person they kept obeying the instruction.
Whole point of this exercise (was a very famous set-up - actually now a famous psychological test) - aim supposed to test how much pain people can withstand - but no - real aim was to find a person who stood up for what was right - the whole point of it was that NOT ONE PERSON being ordered to administer these increasingly painful electrical currents to "victims" had the nous or gumption or courage to stand there and flatly refuse to do it - and condemn it - and to say - "I REFUSE to do this! - it's cruel and horrible".
Got it Alan?
