And then there's Peter Slipper - the last nail in the conservative's coffin. (He did a deal too - Speakers earn heaps - and he's letting have her vitriolic way each day - which tells us he's all for HER !) Hardly ever throws out a LAbor MP - it's always one of Abbott's who goes! Bias so obvious!)
So that makes six votes she's stitched up - none of whom will ever vote against her - don't dare - and ALL avid Liberal haters - so yes she gets things passed because she's got all these blokes well in her cosy little scheming Machiavellian pocket - figuratively speaking.
Windsor and Oakeshott loathe the NATS witha vengeance over past fall-outs, (clever NATS woke up eh?) and were NEVER going with them - ever - so they deceived us by play acting for 17 days that they were "thinking". Wilkie had his cosy deal - now broken by her - over pokies. Brown, flower in lapel, signed a "marriage" certificate with her. Official photos - groomsmen and bridesmaids smiling smugly at the back. Almost confetti - it so resembled a wedding.
Bandt unfortunately got in because the Libs gave him preferences.
And Slipper - well he ended up hating the Libs too - they were trying to get rid of him - so Gillard extended a carot which suited her and he took the job! Of course he's going to make her life smooth.
There's 6 votes - all gained with deals she keeps - or will break - according to expediency - and the saving of her own skin. Her word is NOT her bond. Devious plots are her speciality.
SO crowing about her getting legislation passed is a bit of a hollow claim.
Not one of these blokes has had the spine to stand up to her. Which doesn't say much about their values and moral standards - do they ever once think of the citizens' welfare?
Windsor and Oakeshott, even in the face of a looming train wreck, after which they will turn Labor officially, telling us, no, lecturing us that THIS is "stable government". Are they kidding?
And then there's the Craig Thomson show. Shoosh!! The kiddies might twig, she says! All shut up about that one! Leave it to me to hide him - out of sight of the cameras - Just got to get through the next 18 months - then I can do more deals.

Power gained by stealth, dirty deals, lying to the voters, and courtesy of back room plots, is never a pretty sight. Is this what this country has descnded to? Personal hatreds and vindictiveness on a scale never before seen? Gillard seems to have taken on some of the ugly Keating venom now behind the protection of Parliamentary privilege - so offensively arrogant is she becoming.
