Hi Red, I will do you the courtesy of giving detail when I can find the time to type it up, but I can run back and forth and it still won't be weakness.

Monthly charts, I don't use nor weekly, they cloud things far too much. What I can see in a monthly I can also see in the daily, however the detail from the daily is lost on the monthly. Quite simply there is no way you could see volume pulses on a monthly chart therefore analysing volume on a monthly basis is flawed.

All up trends have declining volume, it's a natural occurance. The thing to be concerned about is an increase in volume, not a decrease. They do however require regular injections of capital in order to be sustainable, how price reacts to these injections helps determine strength of trend.

Neutral injections - are where buying increase on lows is relatively equal to selling increase of highs. This suggests accuracy of trend.

Volume long - is where buying increase on lows is significantly higher to selling increase of highs suggests sustainable trend.

Volume short - is where buying increase on lows is significantly lower to selling increase of highs. This suggests a false trend.

Currently the DOW is between neutral and long suggesting the trend is accurate.

Posted a bit more that I had planned but I will finish when I get time.

    Cheers
