I can see this is being used as a political issue in Malaysia and you may be right about the low radiation level. As a fellow investor, i want to highlight the current Malaysian ppl sentiment on Lynas Issue.

There is a high level of mistrust of the malaysian government by the malaysian ppl. Whatever the govt says, the ppl will no longer trust them. I am not being mislead or any of the people in malaysia is being mislead by the opposition party or anyone else. The ppl prefer to trust the opposition party or they simply made up their mind (anything but the current government).

So what if the Pas scientist is gagged. Do you think the ppl care? I can honestly tell you they don't. They are hell bent against this Plant and they are all for against the government decision to have this plant setup in malaysia. The Malaysian govt fail to consult the ppl residing Kuantan and Lynas management fail to take into account the risk of setting a "low risk toxic" plant in a political unstable country like Malaysia.

Why is there so much fear among Malaysians? Rastus2, I believe you have heard of Bukit Merah plant. Because of that Bad experience, the word "rare earth processing' is embedded in Malaysian mind as highly toxic and causing all sorts of illness. They have seen the after effects of this toxic.
