    Yeah it is a little unclear but let's be honest, all renewables cost many times per MW of energy than non-renewable (if you take away all the subsidies). Nuclear is the only one that gets close (not strictly renewable and has it's own issues). but governments are pushing them regardless of their cost in the hope economies of scale and development will bring them down in the future to a price comparable to fossil fuel energy. Throw in the mix energy security and stability and you can see the need for renewable investment.

    My point is that if the cost comes in at under what other algea firms are producing bio fuel then that is a big win. Our product will have an advantage in the algae market that is exploding in size every year. That price may be several times the current oil price. If we are cheaper overseas contracts will flow like water and we will dominate that space.

    And yes I do believe using bio products to harness the suns energy will end up the renewables winner. Nature has had 3 billion years working on making it more and more efficient.
