First, do you know the rules referred to at the bottom of this page? Suggest you read these.

The Moderator is appointed by H/C and is responsible to them.

The Moderator makes the decision and if you don't agree with that, you can refer the matter to HotCopper.

There are a massive number of posts read by a Moderator if does his job; he issues warnings and suspends posters by email. He doesn't get paid.

If you want a change to that system, I suggest you approach H/C. Bear in mind there are some 1500-2000 posts written on a working day.
