This is an immunoassay, where in theory Mix&Go might be used in the future - such assays require immobilised antibody. Again, due to a poorer dynamic range these point of care devices are inhabit a slightly different realm to standard lab diagnostics - they are more suited to qualitative analysis (is the target there or not) than quantitative analysis (exactly how much target is there), hence best used as screening devices rather than in day-to-day patient management or in research assays where subtle increments and decrements may be quite important.
