When a price drops on no supply (low volume) it shows a lack of selling pressure at that point.
The background is extremely important, with no supply working at it's best when there is strength in the background or following a minor sign of weakness in an uptrend.
Following no supply expect higher prices providing there is strength in the background.
If it fails to provide higher prices this is a sign that the market is not ready to go up.
if there is strength behind us and the no supply area dips back down into an area of strong buying (which ggp has) this is a strong indication of strength showing the floating supply has been absorbed.
We are in an uptrend so when the no supply follows some minor signs of weakness I would expect the up move to continue.

The area I highlighted with the two vertical bars on the chart shows the price drifting down on low volume (no supply) however your actual supply test which was a buy signal came on the 16/02 @1.9c with the confirmation bar appearing the following day @ 2.1c and then again on the 22/02 @ 2c with the confirmation bar appearing the following day@ 2.1c.

I am aware of and respect other charting and trading styles but on this one (from my own personal pov) I have to disagree with you 6ULDV8, as a successful no supply test is one of the strongest leading indicator buy signals I utilise.

Please don't assume that I am attempting to ramp this stock as in the last 90 days of the new uptrend I have only had a buy sentiment on around 5 or 6 of those days, I have also pointed out every single weak or scary looking bar on both the weekly and daily charts and expressed my concerns about them as they appeared.

Having said this I actually bought into ggp a fair while ago as a fundamental trade when they acquired their permain acreage, since the breakout I have used the charts to successfully add small amounts to my holding and decided to share my tech thoughts with the ggp thread as there was no- one else providing a technical view at the time...

If you still think this is all "tripe" then I suggest you utilise the ignore feature as my style of trading isn't about to change any time soon.
