First of all I've got to say that I'm probably one of the most impatient punters going around.

How many times have I waited for an announcement to come, waited some more, waited as long as I could, seen the SP slide then said I have to sell only to see the good news flow a few days later.

Well after losing out on many, I have really tried to change my way.

Finally today on another share I held I got rewarded big time for seeing it through.

It was very similiar to WHN where the market expected an announcement before Xmas, each week the announcement didn't come the optimism of people dwindled.

But when I sat back and evaluated I said to myself I can't see the news being anything but excellent.

And this is why I'm still in WHN, whatever way I look at it I can't see the news on the farmin being anything but amazing and I sure as hell don't want to miss out on that sudden rise in the SP, that big gap up that nobody was expecting to come.

Ask yourself, would Exxon mind spending $200m on a farmin if it means they could get an unrisked mean prospective resource of 3.45 billion barrels.

Do you think Shell want Exxon to take a more dominate postion in the industry and miss out themselves on such a substantial resource.

Howabout Woodside, how can they improve their dwindling reserves and get involved in the next hot thing being East Africa, they can't afford to just be happy with what they have.

East Africa is hot at the moment because if companies don't take a position they will be left behind.

As frustrating as it is, the lack of news isn't because negotiations aren't going well, these sorts of deals can take a long to get right.
But I'm holding, as I don't want to miss out a golden opportunity to double my money.
