I'm going to be pretty disappointed if the blue ridge acquisition wasn't primarily funded by up front cash. Surely announcing another doubling of acerage on blue ridge would push the price up a bit more before announcing a capital raising? A three times oversubscribed capital raising indicates that perhaps a book-build would have be way to go about it with less dilution or more capital raised (if it was 70 cents per share instead of 60, Maverick would have 20 million+ for the same amount of shares issued). The fact that it's soaring after the capital raising is also a strange scenario given that they discounted it so heavily.
