Now, as is well known, the US has a long history of meddling in ME affairs. Rightly or wrongly they have earned the hatred of many people there through their actions. This has nothing to do with Australia yet Howard through his toadying to Bush has made us just as much of a target as the Americans. Howard bought into an enmity that had nothing to do with this country in the first place and by doing so, has placed all Australians in harms way.
I find it depressing that armchair warriors such as yourself are so quick to begin foaming at the mouth and so quick to wrap themselves in the cloak of righteous anger and nationalism when it is not they who will be the cannon fodder. Not they who will be sacrificed for nothing more than political expediency. You really are quite pathetic.
