As I have posted before the media and ourselves should be free to say anything we like BUT if what we have said is demonstrably false, especially a deliberate lie, then the perpetrator should be heavily penalized for spreading untruths.
I have not seen the wording of the proposed legislation on this but I hope that is the intention because I am against any form of censorship but am just as much against those who spread lies.
