Course you'd want to be in before the strike if it happens, but not being in before is the price you pay for also not taking the risk of being in at the moment they announce the well is uncommercial. Better to buy in higher (knowing Range has plenty of oil) or lower (where there will no longer be lots of short term investors gambling on the result).
Either way, after the result is a lot less risky.
And as for only posting on Range, I've already explained this, I don't live in Australia, I live in the UK. I look at other stocks too, but only this one is listed on the ASX. The vast majority of stocks in the UK are only listed on the AIM or LSE and so do not have a Hotcopper discussion board devoted to them. Hence my lack of posts concerning other stocks.
