humans came from worm like creatures, page-25

This thread shows that many are obviously very ill equipped to make any informed judgement on the merits of either Science or evolution.

This is NOT a new theory in evolution or a disruption to earlier understandings of evolution at all!

The whole point of the article is that the anceint (500 million year old) 'worm-like' organism, which was previously thought to be 'a worm' (and previously classified as such), was NOT in fact 'a worm' at all! It was an ancient organisms that belonged to the Phylum Chordata. This is because it has now been proven to have a NOTOCHORD.

In evolutionary understanding, humans still have clear lineage to ancestral Primates. However, this new finding leads the initial DNA lineage of all higher level animals (all of which have notochords) further back in time than previously evidenced (ie: now 500 million years).

If you don't understand or can't get your head around this most basic concept of classification of organisms and how it might be significant to Science and evolution, then you are in no position to judge the merits of Scientific method or evolution to start.
