I think we may be overthinking this a little people.

The ann specifically states as below:

"Mantle also advises that as part of the settlement process, discussions between Mantle’s
tenement managers and relevant Government Departments regarding the tenement transfers
have revealed recent developments towards a proposed National Park over Mt Mulligan."

MNM have just "recently" become aware of the NP proposal and, I feel, this probably links to the recent State Labor Govt proposed "green corridor" to grab votes.

If it is that they knew about it all along, then I believe it was simply not mentioned as MNM did not have ownership of MtM tenements. No point in bringing up an issue about something you don't own - hence all ann's were focussed on the court proceeding to get the tenements signed over from Calcifer.

I liken it to Callum's comments to the Melton Weekly and IK's comments at the GME panel presentation recently ie. there is no point discussing mining at BM until we know what is there from exploration first.

The community may get up in arms about a mine, but that is 5 steps away from where MNM is now - so let's get the exploration (Step 1) done and we'll address the next step.

MtM is similar - pointless discussing the proposed NP until the first step is completed and that was winning the court case. That's now done, they will address the next step and so on. Fair to say, there may be other gremlins in this project which could crop up and will need to be addressed - do we then ask "How come IK didn't know about that and tell us from the very beginning?" as well.

Putting faith in management, I'm fairly certain they wouldn't have pursued MtM for 3+ years if they felt that a proposed mining development would not get approved, irrespective of what hurdles eventuate.

Additionally, there are some very learned posters on HC who have vast amount of research knowledge on MNM - how come in all this time (if it was as widely known as some speculate here) that not one post was made mentioning a proposed National Park at MtM?

So, let's keep the speculation to a minimum and let management do their job. Whilst some may not be happy with where the SP is at...making comments like "insider trading", "looking after their mates", "suppressing the share price", etc...is futile, and quite frankly, unsubstantiated.

Some wont like the above - so apologies to any SH's who feel let down by MNM management. I'll just take a quick look and see where those free MNMOA options, that all SH's would have received that participated in the CR, are sitting now in value!

    Cheers K
