I was at a service station & while waiting in line there was a young lady customer at the counter who for some reason did not have the money to pay. The staff would not let her leave in her car untill it was paid.
Having paid for my petrol & about to leave I see that this young lady was distraught & teary. I spoke to her & she explianed & told me she had no one she could call for immidiate help & she need to get to work.
I took $50 from my wallet & offered it to her, she said she could not accept it as she did not know how she would pay me back. I gave her my business card & said "I'll trust that you will"
She only need $30 to pay for the petrol so she took the $50 & gave me the $20 change. That night I got a text message with a big thank you & I recived the $30 in the mail a couple of days latter with another apreciative message.
I't too easy not to trust people sadly it has become all to common these days. I could have ignored the young lady & left here to deal with it herself but I didn't.
