would be a strange reason to walk as the debt was already known and the equity issue to existing holders and chandler would have meant the company was debt free.....so I am not sure he was scared off by the debt.
maybe he was scared off by the greens as the news articles are suggesting but I also think that would be a bit odd as their opposition ws loud and already known.
I suspect as I said the thrill of the chase is always better than what follows and maybe he realised it was not for him.
anyway we can speculate but the bottom line is it leaves Gunns back at square one or even less than square one as it has done further reputatiional damage to them.
