In my opinion Malaysia was always a smokescreen hiding the real deal they were trying to get done. I never expected anything to get done with Malaysian. Singapore was the obvious choice followed by Hong Kong.
I wonder if this means they are closing in on another Asian deal with Jetstar? You can only spread yourself so thin and they already have Jetstar Japan kicking off.
Its better for the company to focus on growing Jetstar International.
