Ljscott,
your analysis is somewhat accurate. However, its relatively hard to do a comparison between the two firms as they sit on different phases in the exploration - discovery - delineation - production cycle.
IVR still needs to delineate its deposit and is trying to get a handle on its deposit. Their average head grade is unknown and we have no idea on metallurgy. However, it is looking like a nice deposit. And lets be honest, the only reason they have such a high market cap is due to a certain publication. Another key aspect to take note of, is that the drilling results need to show CONSISTENCY along strike and true width to give an idea on the size of the deposit.
SVL is further down the cycle but has a lower market cap due to a lack of marketing but more importantly, metallurgy. They need to increase their resource confidence into the measured category [which is being done at the very moment] and tweak a probably production scenario for their polymetallic deposit. This should be done shortly....
They are both good exploration juniors that have the potential to make significant headway with rising silver prices and resource delineation, in my opinion.
