You can generally avoid sounding disrepectful if you don't write disrepectful things.

You can put different weightings on different things. Note I prefaced the 14.5c one with "technically". I say that because I recognise that not everyone would be able to figure out where it was. Some people/places use open/close, some use high/low.

As I say, each to their own. A better philosophy IMO than calling someone else's take "pretty weak".

fwiw, there are also plenty of intraday gaps as well.
