Yes unclerik. It would be better if they were coherant amongst each other, and then it gets worse when they twist their own fallacies. As an analogy - it's like the religious mantra that "God created man" is the fruitcake, but it has lots of different nuts in it.

Further to the fairly unanimous sentiment here that "cultures invent Gods", I'm still waiting to find out which God or Gods were the one(s) that supposedly created humans. The debate is stuck in a paradox that God(s) are invented in the minds of man but God(s) need to exist prior to the minds of man to create man.

Also what about Kim Il Sung? Despite dying in recent times, he is worshipped in similar ways that Jesus is. Are all those worshippers deluded? What makes followers of only some religions deluded? Isn't it much more logical that all followers of all religions are deluded.

Religionists treat other religions the same as they treat science. They just grab whatever bits of it they want to to substantiate your own beliefs.

I have nothing against spiritualism but when people want to state that their beliefs are fact, their arguments tend to crumble in the face of logic, as witnessed in some of the posts above.
