I am interested in all belief in the supernatural and the magical. This includes all religions, past and present. Also astrology and tarot cards. Even personality cults as in North Korea. And the divine right of kings and emporers.
It's not a matter of WHAT people believe but WHY they do so.
The need to worship seems to be deeply imbeded in the human psyche. And the need to explain the unknown by inventing benevolent or malevolent beings also seems to have existed since the dawn of the human species. In general it is an anthropomorphic view of the universe that prevails.
