you're having a bad day!!

A normal friday last week - finally some work: Finished the work in Redcliff not far from Brisbane; back to the office and was on the way to another office to drop off some related stuff. Halfway there had some sort of dizzey turn in the car. Pulled onto a footpath and when it got more acute called the ambo. Finally, after many many tests incl a stress test was released late Tue. Now, I was due to be a chief witness in a court case on the Tue morning, so come Mon midday thought I should let the court know. I phoned the court and was told I needed a letter from the hospital. They duly complied and this morning I thought I would ring and see when the new court date was. It was then I was told that there was no record of any fax or phone call and that there was a warrant out for my arrest. I said i would drive straight over and show them a copy of the fax. Don't do that they said; your licence has been suspended. I took a bus only to find the magistrate had gone to a funeral. I was also told that the magistrate wouldn't be back until Mon morning so no driving until after a hearing then. So I have spent all arvo cancelling a few thousand dollars worth of work, not to mention sat and sun golf (all too far away). Can you tell I'm pissed. So when I say I need info on sp, it's not the share price, it's suicide prevention. Right now I'm waiting for a knock on the door; how the world turns! But I'll have had so much rum by then, they'll be lucky to pour me into a car. They'll have to caulk all the gaps. cheers jwt (:
