    Hi (capnbling1)

Atlas are a good company.Third or fourth largest land holder in the Pilbara.
The tenements they have in the Pilbara that they have got started or are close to getting started, are reasonably close to port.
Atlas have a lot of tenements that are going to need rail access to get to port.
I am not certain on this point, but I believe there are only permits/allowances for four rail lines running between the Newman area and Port Headland.
We have RIO,BHP,FMG and soon there will be Hancock.

Imagine what it is going to be like with BHP,FMG and Hancock all running rail lines from around Newman to Port Headland.

I could be wrong, but I feel Glencore will want to be at the front of a new iron ore province like this in West/Central Africa.
It was said in the article I asked people to look at today that some have said it is too late for Glencore to get a big enough percentage of the iron ore resources to place them as a front runner.
There reply was that, yes it will be hard but opportunities are there if you look hard enough.

FMG have in place phase 1 Cloud Break,Christmas Creek
    rail line.
Phase 2,3 and I believe phase 4 are all connecting into the phase 1 line.Loop goes through BRM Marillana to Mindy Mindy, another comes from the Cloud Break line towards Newman through Mt Lewin,Mt Nicholas with the main line going to East of Newman to FMG tenements near the old FerrAus and Warwick tenements are, that Atlas took over.
A Branch line runs off this main line North of Newman to FMG's Horatio tenements

Hancock have planned a rail line from Roy Hill, near FMG's Mt Nicholas running alongside BHP's Newman rail line, then going Through BRM's Marillana tenement to Port Headland.Hancock have a line breaking off this line at Marillana and heading to their Hope Downs,Rhodes Ridge/East Angelas 1,2,and 3 tenements just North of Newman.
I don't think another rail line for Atlas would be possible heading towards Newman.

I think it likely Atlas will be taken over.
It has been said many times about the Pilbara iron ore aspirants, that only a few will make it through to production.

    Regards
    Westcott.
