If you recall from the last cap raising, the same condition existed and the share price in the preceding days did dip well below 1.0 cent (placement price at the time).
Pattersons still took up the offer which I saw as a vote of confidence in the organisation. Cant seem them being pleased at the moment when they'll potentially have millions of options that will be expiring in a few months.
Irrespective, agree with your feedback asf in that good news has to accompany a cap raising. Patience and contributions by investors need to be rewarded or at least confirmed in that its not a lost cause.
I guess we'll find out any day now how many shares were placed and the shortfall.
