The company's main asset is still yet to be discovered by many commentators. Every day I see news stories about how hard it is to obtain finance, there were a raft of such stories today. Our banks whingeing about how hard it is.
The missing link is of course, the connections and ability of the company to access and employ the people that can help it get things done. I picked this aspect up in 2003 to my great fortune and I have never been disappointed. In the very beginning AF was obtaining fast approvals for all kinds of things, while others dithered.
The ASIC case, and what followed, was a clear example of how many people are living on a different planet when it comes to understanding Fortescue and its ability to move forward in the face of idiots.
Even now, this latest fund raising will be condemned by some for its risk element. They still don't get it, fools.
