Once again federal Labor get themselves in a nasty,personal mug slinging match. They constantly play the man not the ball, they drag their childish behaviour out of the parliament and spread it over the TV every night. Everyday they erode the public respect for the position they hold just out of spite.
I am astounded at the advice that they must be getting, Clive Palmer loves the publicity, he loves being called the richest man in Queensland, having Labor and the media constantly reminding people he is one of the super rich, he is as big a media tart as Peter Beattie and Federal Labor are giving him a platform to take swipes at them.
What are Labor gaining by saying CP is a rich so and so who is just looking after his own interests, big shock, you have really hurt him, there is nothing in it for Labor.
Now Clive Palmer can get up there on the 7.30 report and throw mud at Labor and some of it will stick, he can tell everyone about all the money he gives to charity, he can talk about all the jobs her creates, he can say the Wayne Swan is just petty and sad, what does Wayne Swan give to charity? how many jobs did Wayne Swan create?
All the time Tony Abbott can stand on the sidelines and laugh.
