New executives coming on-board are always sold to shareholders as having prior experience, with well-written descriptions of their achievements.
As for chillee being an indication of success - I dont buy this argument anymore. Ive held a number of miners in recent years on the basis that 'sophisticated investors' must know what they're doing, and the company struggles/fails anyway.
No, I now look for evidence of solid risk management built into the management culture before I consider the technical aspects of the project.
