    You still don't fully understand what a monopoly is.

    NBN co is a monopoly only if it is NOT controlled by any existing law or regulation. And I showed you above that NBN co is very much controlled or regulated under the NBN Companies Act 2011, and like all companies in Australia it is regulated under the Trade Practices Act 1974 (renamed the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 on 1 January 2011) and other acts, which ACCC administers.

    The fact that ACCC has the power to enforce all companies in Australia to comply with the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 can only mean that legally there is no monopoly in Australia. In other words, monopoly is illegal in Australia.

    So, legally there is no monopoly in Australia. That is the fact.
