Actually its kinda funny. Because in fact carbon dioxide is good and carbon monoxide is very bad, but many of the AGW proponents clearly have no concept of the poles-apart difference.
Its a bit like saying that salt is harmless and good, but its two components, sodium and chlorine are deadly. Which is perfectly true. Sodium metal fires at room temperature, and chlorine is a deadly gas.
I used to be ambivalent about AGW, thinking that even if it was true there was nothing we could do about it.
But now I think it is a huge fraud. The clever-boots like Al Gore made a fortune from it, and now the late-comers to the feast are finding the table is bereft and bare.
