Having a cheap political shot like that in the context of the death of a much admired, magnificent Australian is very revealing of Tony Abbott's personality disorder.
Abbott has never recovered from his failure to win the 2010 election & his failure to win over the independents. He is suffering from relevance deprivation syndrome & hell bent on being vindictive regardless as to the cost to Australia or even common decency.
That he would spew forth his acerbic vitriol on such an occasion utterly disgusts me. Nor do I beleive there is anything Abbott can now do to remove the stench of such behaviour.
If he becomes PM it will be solely because of our rejection of Julia Gillard & in spite of the fact that most of us are revolted by everything from his speedos to too smart by half cracks such as the one he just perpetrated at Margaret Whitlam's expense.
