It certainly appeared that you were talking about an immune response, and lucky you have a 'relly in the business' to help you think for yourself.

Clinical testing is certainly about standardization, safety and efficacy. I still think that at least some of the answer is in the nature of the treated cells. If they are sufficiently standardized, they will be equally effective. It is the very nature of the cells that makes them suitable for commercial quantities and that was my point. The rest (proving it by clinical trials) is in the lap of the gods. Nothing is certain as you will see in my sign-off.
