The Good Guys- yes, an interesting company. I was in a store on Sunday and they were certainly competitive on prices and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. But it's an interesting product mix- whitegoods, plasma screens,stereos and telco stuff. With computers, it would start to look like a smarter version of HVN. Only the buyers were absent.

Back at JB Indooroopilly on the same day- there was a definate buzz about- and crowds too. Why? 2 reasons- one,
the release of the Ipad 3 (or the new ipad as its known)two, with the local HVN & DS stores closed down (and the local Retrovision store also closing soon) its just about the only show around with the same product mix.Industry consolidation. The point is JB still has products that draw the foot traffic- and the branding is very smart. Industry consolidation will lead to opportunities imv.
