The 'war' on terror is a construct facilitated and utilized by the Neo-Cons and their synchophants - as a pretext for their imperialistic hegemony and the resulting resource wars which shall follow.
Protectionism and tariff conflicts etc. are the first stage in this impending resource war and of course this has already started.
The criminality of Osama and Saddam: both former CIA assets - are just one ingredient in this bogus 'war'.
Containing these extremists is the excuse ie. pretext - for USA and its allies declaring war on regions it requires for its economic and financial survival.
Ultimately this WILL fail and 'Chindia' will emerge the victor.
The 'war' on terror is as genuine - and will be as successful - as the 'war' on drugs in the 80's.
It's simplistic dumbed down 'reasoning' for public consumption and it's nothing new.
Corrupt governments have done all this before but the sheeple don't seem to learn.
