Statsman what a brilliant analytical well thought out and presented post - ! not

I dont know why I am even bothering to respond because T/A V F/A argument has been covered in thousands of posts on Hot Copper over the years.

Its like Muslims trying to convince Christians to change, To get a Ford man to buy a Holden or convince a trade unionist to vote Liberal.

Charting will rarely get you into a stock at the bottom or out at the top. What you are trying to do is capture the bulk of the trend by not getting in to early or out to late you will preserve the bulk of your capital.

I know a couple of large holders that tried to catch the falling knife on PLV averaging down at 60c , 40c , and again at 30c. If they had simply observed the EMA cross they would have seen at no time during the fall did it give another long term buy signal,

Its obvious the stock is close to the bottom at the current price and by combining T/A with F/A you can assume a safe entry into the stock after the $17m gets banked. Looking at the chart a price rise above 32c on good volume presumably associated with the removal of risk after receiving the timeone cash would indeed be a smarter entry than trying to guess the bottom.

If the cash doesn't arrive then I expect the bottom will be lower the current price.

My advise to all fundamentalists on all stock threads is to simply not read the T/A posts.

The article below by Marcus Padley pretty much covers what I am trying to say.
