I never said it was right, just that it happened, and you never know it may have even been done by your favourite and most authorative journo. Try and recall how many images from war zones you have seen over the years of kids congregating, if there is a picture taken, there is a reporter of one sort taking it.
I have heard of using sweets being spoken of publicly by a well known western journo, but it is unlikely many would admit to it other than to each other.
Anyway what are your thoughts about whether soldiers see the kids as being a deterrent or not?
