firstly i dont think he should be going around defending the share price, he resetly got one billion in bonds and has not financial covernants to worry about, he should have spent the last two days making sure the lihir problem whichh requires 200 000 000 in repair and maintenance is done quick smart...but thts my vieww,,,,trying to talk up the share price to help his options doesnt get it rising,,,,,what gets it rising is production back on track for more than one qtr,,,,crying about other correlations is absurd in my book,,,,,,and then to admit its about 1000 gold valuations and that aud is "killing" them along with "rising costs" undoes his arguements and just proves the market is correct imo...

If he wants the share price to go up, then get the production issues sorted and prove the plan,,,once a few qtrs pass the market will recognise and do the rest
