black, nup, not saying anything about the real price of gold. If I was gonna say something about that I would just direct you to the Perth Mint website. The price of PMGOLD is the price of PMGOLD. The price of a one ounce PM gold coin is the price of a one ounce PM gold coin. They are different for different reasons.

I am saying that people who talk up gold live in the olden days back in the 20's, 30's (homestake mining co??) and the 80's when the last time gold went up, up.

Back then the 'clean' way of cashing in on a rising gold price (ie nothing to hide under your bed) was mining paper.

Now we have some really good alternatives that weren't around back then. So you need not buy mining paper. Indeed, most are not buying mining paper; they are getting into ETF's etc.
