As a west Aussie looking on it is fait accompli in Qld and good luck to Newman sorting out the mess Labor has left. A disturbing footnote is that the ABC is complicit with Labor in trying to minimise the damage by airing and promoting Anna's "no unfettered power is good" line and trotting out Kate (can do's opponent) close to tears and with a mildly sick child as she sees her gravy train disappearing into the distance. Newman is going to need all the support he can get and Qlders would be well advised to dump the Greens as well. WA will at last have an ally agaist the creeping Socialists in Canberra.
