Do you mean like the unwritten law that politicians do not attack other candidate's families for potential political scoring? Bligh certainly failed that one.
And yet labor were quite happy to go after liberal mps in the form of the fitzgerald inquiry. Some went to jail for presumably much less than other subsequent mps may have got away with.
