2346 GMT [Dow Jones] Leighton Holdings (LEI.AU) shares have been halted ahead of a
possible revision of the company's previous earnings guidance, based on information
emerging from quarterly reviews currently underway. If the company announces any further
bad news on its Brisbane airport link project, it will be extremely disappointing for the
market since the company had recently said its performance was stabilizing, says
Morningstar analyst Ross MacMillan. MacMillan says he has been expecting the project to
be completed broadly in line with the company's revised timeframe, possibly missing
it by a few weeks due to bad weather. Leighton last traded at A$23.75.
