OOPS, I thought that seemed ridiculous too. I thought their shareholders must have been getting over excited valuing the find at $130B. Goes to show, if you think a result is crazy, check it out properly before shooting off at the mouth.
Share price on their website is quoted as 1570.00 GBp
I read it as pounds, not pence which is why I was 100 times out.
Restated, MC is around AUD$20B (ten zeros). 6% of that is AUD$1.2B.
Add a billion or two to FAR's MC, and do the maths for yourselves. I'm running out of fingers to count the bags with, and all my toes are in my mouth after that last post.
