The reason i expect news in the near future is that for QMC to meet their objectives and honour their promises to shareholders they will have to meet some deadlines that are inherent to all project activities.
Financing is required, approvals, sign-offs, employment, contract management, environmental impact studies, mine planning, transport, pit development, infrastructure development, operations readiness, construction and commissioning activities.
All of the above mentioned processes require considerable planning and development which doesn’t happen overnight. QMC must be very close to completing the BFS or they may risk breaking the promise to produce copper by 2013.
If QMC can manage this correctly then i would say now is the time to buy up some stock.
