Saw the same movie tonight and was thinking exactly the same thing.

These guys are the masters of spin...they can certainly talk things up... It may be a cultural thing...I'm no expert.

I only have $10k in GNM...no big deal for me so it's in the back of the bottom drawer.

Not in a position to offer advice...preserving capital...blue chips with high dividends or online bank account with 6% pa might assist with insomnia in the shot term...DYOR.

It all depends on your personal risk profile and if you are at an age where you have time on your side to recover any losses.
