You under estimate my belief in OBJ when you suggest that I, of all people, should be hearing "warning bells", however just for arguments sake, lets accept that your opinion in this instance is indeed correct and OBJ's vaccine program has now "fallen over"
Given the current sp and Market cap for OBJ one might also consider that this assumption only highlights yet a lower risk proposition to existing s/holders as one might surely agree the market have already factored in this fate
Frazer, as you correctly state did resign in December 2008, citing that OBJ's Scientific Advisory Committee had not needed his services for some time. You are also correct in your observations of resignation notices announced a couple of months preceding Dr Frazer's departure for both Dr Donald and Dr Shearer, however there is a couple of points also worthy of some consideration here imo:
Dr Frazer is the inventor of the world's first cancer vaccine, whilst Dr Donald was a pathologist, and Dr Shearer, a dentist. I have no doubt that these good men offered something of value to OBJ during their stay, however whilst they may have collectively represented a wealth of knowledge for any young biotech company, they were not experts in the field of Transdermal Drug Delivery.
You may also recall that it was some concerning discrepencies returned in the test results during the period between the QU and Curtain University which led to OBJ calling in world renoun authories on transdermal drug delivery, Dr Brian Barry of Bradford University, Dr Keith Brain of Cardiff University and one of Australia's leading experts, Dr Michael Roberts.
Those variable results imo may have stalled the progress at OBJ for up to 12 months by my calculations, but I can only speculate. One might certainly agree that some of those responsible for those variables might also have been encouraged to resign?
In regards to the topic of transdermal delivery of vaccines I believe it's important to understand that collaborating scientist, Dr Roberts has been awarded research grants from OBJ since 2008, and as highlighted through national media over the past couple of years, it was the team made up of Dr Roberts, Dr Frazer and Dr Kendall from the UQ who were awarded the Eureka prize in 2011 for their promising development of the "NanoPatch" - an intra-dermal patch technology being developed with magnetic microarrays.
Additionally, if you open this March 2012 Investor roadshow presentation for Andrew "Twiggy" Forrest's, Allied Health Group, and scroll to Pg.15 under the heading - "Coridon" - (a subsidiary company founded by Dr Ian Frazer in Queensland) you will stumble across the words, "Unique transdermal delivery"
Imo, this might also be of some interest to OBJ holders as Dr Frazer is not an expert in the field of transdermal technologies, and perhaps more importantly all three of these good gentlemen, Roberts, Kendall and Frazer have publicly stated that there is no conflict of interest with the projects they are currently developing - which of course includes their award winning magnetic microarray NanoPatch
One might also recall the mystery disappearances of near term commercial outcomes anticipated with Becca Cosmetics, The Smart Watch for Nicotine cessation, BreathAssist or Mr Edwards publicly expressed strong belief in providing continuous disclosure of information to his s/holders...
All these mysteries one might conclude began when the Major Global players came knocking...
