Repeat after me - the reason Australia was spared during the GFC was the strong position and the massive surplus bequeathed to this lot by Peter Costello. It had little to do with pink batts [that had to be removed], $M3/4 school lean to's, a stupid bank guarantee that was rescinded in 3 days, $700 JB HiFi cheques sent out to Labor supporters ie welfare recipients.

We survived the GFC IN SPITE of Wayne Duck, not because of him. Were we unlucky enough to have a double dip crisis, this bozo could sink us for a decade.
